We have enabled a BYOD compliance policy that requires all PC’s to be enrolled on the network, to access work resources like Outlook and Teams.

This includes personal computers, that require Anti-Virus & Firewall to be enabled on personal computers to be compliant to access work resources.

Anti-virus
is required for Windows to allow access. If you don’t have one, you can download and install AVG Free - https://www.avg.com/en-gb/free-antivirus-download#pc


Alert Message

This alert message below will appear to enforce this enrolment, if you have not done the above, when trying to access work resources like Teams and Outlook.

WINDOWS

If you would like to use your personal computer to connect to our system, you will need to go to “Access work or school within settings – Select Connect and enter in your work email address in the top section and then select Next to enrol your device onto our network.”

Settings - Accounts - Access work or school

Once you have done this all, all should work for you on your personal Windows computer.


APPLE MAC

If you would like to use your personal Mac to connect to our system, you will need to sign into an application like Mail to access your work email or Teams, this will then prompt you to enter in your work email address to start the enrolment onto your device onto our network.

Once you have done this all, all should work for you on your personal Apple Mac computer.
