How to reset your Windows Hello options
Start by opening an elevated command prompt.
1. Start by connecting to the FortiClient VPN.
2. Click the Windows button in the bottom left.
3. Search for 'cmd' and select Run as administrator.
Enter certutil.exe -DeleteHelloContainer into the command prompt and press enter.
Your device should hang for a second and then complete the process.
Once you have run this command, please sign out of Windows and then sign back in using your Windows password.
4. Once signed back in, you'll want to click the Windows button again and search for 'Windows Hello' / 'Sign in Options'
Start by entering a Pin and adding a fingerprint/face scan if needed.
You'll then need to hold down the windows button & click L on the laptop. This should lock the computer and make you sign in with the pin again. Your pin should now work again.
