Apple iOS Email Setup

Steps to Add Your Work Email Account to Your iOS Device:

  1. Open Settings: Tap the Settings app on your iOS device.

  2. Scroll Down to Mail: Scroll down and tap Mail.

  3. Tap Accounts: Then, tap Accounts.

  4. Add Account: Tap Add Account.

  5. Select Microsoft Exchange: From the list of email providers, select Microsoft Exchange.

  6. Enter Your Email Address: Enter your work email address and give a description (e.g., "Work Email"), then tap Next.

  7. Tap "Sign In": You will see two options: Configure Manually and Sign In. Tap Sign In.

  8. Authenticate with Microsoft:

    • You will be redirected to the Microsoft sign-in page.
    • Enter your work email password and tap Sign In.
    • If prompted, follow the on-screen instructions to authenticate using multi-factor authentication (e.g., entering a code sent to your phone).
  9. Grant Permissions: You may be asked to grant permissions for iOS to access your email and other Microsoft services. Tap Accept to continue.

  10. Enable Mail and Other Features: You will see options to sync Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, and Notes. Toggle the features you want to sync to On.

  11. Save the Account: Tap Save in the top right corner to complete the setup.

  12. Check Your Mail App: Open the Mail app on your device to start receiving your work emails.


Android Email Setup

Steps to Add Your Work Email Account to Your Android Device:

  1. Open Settings: Go to the Settings app on your Android device.

  2. Scroll to Accounts: Scroll down and tap on Accounts (it may also be labeled as Accounts & sync or Users & accounts, depending on your device).

  3. Add Account: Tap Add account.

  4. Select Microsoft Exchange or Outlook: Choose Exchange (it may also be labeled as Exchange, Office 365, or Outlook).

  5. Enter Your Work Email Address: Type in your work email address and tap Next.

  6. Tap "Sign In": You will be given two options: Manual Setup and Sign In. Choose Sign In.

  7. Authenticate with Microsoft:

    • You will be redirected to the Microsoft sign-in page.
    • Enter your work email password and tap Sign In.
    • Follow any additional security steps required, such as multi-factor authentication (e.g., entering a code sent to your phone).
  8. Grant Permissions: You may be asked to grant permissions for the email app to access your Microsoft account information. Tap Accept or Allow to proceed.

  9. Configure Sync Settings: Choose the sync settings for MailContactsCalendar, and Other Services as desired, then tap Next.

  10. Complete the Setup: Follow any additional prompts to complete the setup. Your email account will now be added to your Android device.

  11. Check Your Email App: Open the Email or Outlook app on your device to start receiving and sending emails.


Add Another Account to the Microsoft Teams App:

  1. Open the Microsoft Teams App: Tap the Teams app icon on your mobile device to open it.

  2. Access Your Profile Settings:

    • Tap on your profile picture or initials located in the top left corner of the screen.
  3. Select "Add Account":

    • In the menu that appears, scroll down and tap "Add account".
  4. Sign In to the New Account:

    • Enter the email address for the new account you want to add and tap "Sign In".
    • You will be redirected to the Microsoft sign-in page.
    • Enter your password and complete any additional security steps, such as multi-factor authentication (if enabled).
  5. Grant Permissions:

    • You may be asked to grant permissions to allow Teams to access various features on your device. Tap "Allow" or "Yes" as needed.
  6. Switch Between Accounts:

    • Once the account is added, you can switch between accounts by tapping your profile picture or initials again and selecting the account you want to switch to from the list.
    • The app will automatically switch to the selected account, allowing you to access teams, chats, and meetings associated with that account.
  7. Manage Notifications for Each Account (Optional):

    • You can manage notifications for each account separately by going to Settings > Notifications within the app.
